10 Reasons Local Businesses Are Absolutely STARVING for Local Customers and How to Find Them Online

Hey, It’s Zack here…Happy Friday! I’m excited for the weekend.

Dang, last night I was on the MOST POWERFUL webinar so far in 2010.  An experienced online marketer named Kevin Wilke teamed up for a launch of something called Local Business Money Machine with my favorite online dude Ryan Deiss.

I believe this info-product is going to go over very BIG! Here’s why Local Business Owners are going to become a way for those with online experience to make some serious money together.

1.  Plumbers, Dentists, Carpet Cleaners, Contractors, Locksmiths, Landscapers, etc…they all have been Hit HARD by Recession (down 30% or more)

2.  What used to work (Yellow Pages, Newspapers) no longer works and is extremely expensive. ($20,000 to $200,000 a year)

3.  Local Business Owners KNOW the Internet is the future…But have NO idea what to do…and this is where you come in.

4.  Even if the business owners did know, they don’t want to or can’t do their own online marketing…

5.  Working 80 hrs/wk, plus masters of their trade these local small business people are shelling out huge money to keep name recognition in the traditional ads in their area.

6.  You only need a handful of customers to be making a full-time income, working from home, setting your own schedule, having a blast, and making a HUGE difference.

7.  How?? Online Local DOMINATION…You turn your client into THE #1 AUTHORITY ONLINE for their local market.

8.  They go from not even close to sniffing page 1 of Google…To being EVERYWHERE…

9.  In “Local Search”, “Natural Search”, “PPC”, and their “Content” in Top 10, more “Consumer Reviews” than anybody else (and more)…They are now the AUTHORITY online.

10.  98% of searchers choose a business on page 1.

The recession has hit ALL businesses and the Internet is becoming a replacement for traditional advertising methods, like the newspaper and yellow pages of the phonebook.

Almost 5,000 people joined me and Kevin Wilke as he shared how many of his students are making $10K per month and more helping local businesses get on line.

1 out of 3 of online searches are for a local business and 81% of people first research online these days before any other method.

I used to build homes and if I look at the local construction companies in my area today online, they are virtually non-existant.  Yet many of those same companies are advertised in the Yellow Pages…yuck! I just threw my newly delivered phonebook into the recycling last month. In fact, when I searched Google in my area with the keyword “Astoria Construction” what I found was the top listed company was located over 125 miles away from this town.

Now that’s just too sad for the local yokels who are trying to make a living and find new customers, but have a website made from their buddy and not updated since 2003 :(   As you can see above the top 3 spots on Google are Not Local Businesses where I live, which means it’s a wide open market.  Don’t let your competitors grab that top spot. Over 60% of the clicks happen on the top 3 spots. See Picture above.

This is the easiest way I think I have ever heard for the average Joe to make real money online. This business is easy to understand and easy to execute. And for the naysayers or skeptical, I’m this way…do your own research and you’ll see. It’s not based on SEO and PPC and all this techie stuff either.

If your looking for a real lasting career (NOT A JOB) this may be your best answer.

Get it while you can,

P.S. This link will be removed as soon as I am sure you have had a fair chance to look at it.

It’s time to get focused. Don’t screw this up. Go now

Hey Zack this is a great idea. I am working with a local company that sells and installs alternative energy sources for homes and businesses, I am sure that they would be interested in this.

    Thanks,
    Kathy

Yeah, the local economy here is struggling to get a foot hold on anything. im sure many of them would like to have a presence online. If they only knew how simple it was.

    Zack,

Interesting concept to say the least.

Given that you're just southwest of me, I'm going to take a look at the same content you were explaining and see if I can dig up the same results for my local area.

Crazy thing is that my local area is booming with construction – private and commercial, and the economy is doing well thanks to some very large and numerous projects in this region.

It's certainly worth taking a look at though.

    God Bless,
    Linus

    Zack,

DK hit the nail on the head last year when he decided to put his energy into local businesses and helping them get a presence online to get more business. (That guy knows about all the latest trends before anyone else does)

I've got a few friends that have put their energy into this niche.

    Great info Zack!

Kathy, I would be really interested in hearing more about this local energy company because although we are in a tribe and working in network marketing I'm in graduate school right now and I currently work with 16 different small-scale energy companies.

I work with companies that develop wave energy buoys that produce alternative energy from the up and down motions of ocean waves. This extracts electricity.

Would you be willing to share how you are communicating with this local company?

    :)

Thanks for stopping by Jeff – - -

I have found that most local business owners who know they need to have an online presence do not want to do ANY of the work themselves, which means it's up to me to present myself and how I work as a professional as well as keep track of the traffic the marketing is driving.

If a small business (specific to a certain niche that has a higher customer value) gets only 1 or 2 new customers a month from the new online presence this pays for itself.

What timing. I just had a meeting last week with the owners of some golf courses in my area. I will take a look at the link you provided.

Thanks for cruising over to my blog this morning Bob. This concept is connected to a product / coaching program developed by a young man named Kevin Wilke. I was introduced to this recently and it's called the Local Business Money Machine. It's a high-end affiliate as well.

More importantly, I believe for a lot of folks doing Internet Marketing of one form or another they have the skills to help local business people establish a foothold on the Google Market for their area, but the major point is that they do not have any idea about autoresponders, social media, etc. We have the do the work for them in exchange for results and new customers they get through more online exposure.

All in all, this really only works if the small business owner is in business where their customers / clients have a higher customer value. What is customer value?

Simple, if you are a hairdresser and a person comes in they have a value to you of ~$30+ whereas if you're a construction company owner for each new customer you could make thousands plus. That's the difference, looking to work for local business owners that are in an industry with a higher customer value offsets the small expense of paying us to do their marketing for them and find new business for them.

    Best,
    Zack
