Finding & Selecting Your Profitable Niche Business
-
Long-term Appeal – Businesses are NOT about the How To’s anymore. You are the ONLY person who knows what rocks your world! Why do I bring this up? I failed for over 3 months building my business online! I was trying to re-invent the wheel, or basically, I thought I could build a powerful network marketing businesses just like I had done the old-fashioned ways using traditional networking and phone calls to friends and family…but this time using the Internet to market my supposed business Online. Okay, I’ll be the first to admit I watched every damned training video under the sun and took the steps to start marketing ME online, or Zack Inc…to no avail…that’s curious. The How -To Build a Profitable Business doesn’t necessarily boil down to a specific product, website, system, or upline telling you what to do exactly for Your success. This is when a friend told me my website was too masculine, my marketing was all over the place, and my Niche was virtually non-existent. These days we have to plug into people and other, larger, businesses that understand the future of social media and what is worth Your time and what is not. So Facebook and Twitter are going to be a blast from the past in a few years…any comments or predictions??? Tell me below. The How-To specifically brand yourself online is all about Finding & Selecting Your Profitable Niche Business.
-
Leverage Google – Dig through your old journals, grab a cup of coffee or tea and read your emails and Facebook messages from friends, and go back and read the blog posts you most enjoyed in the past 6 months. Now – - – what do you see, or feel? Do you have a passion? I’m not talking about a hobby per se, like I love fishing and watching movies; but rather, what do YOU write about when talking to your friends and business collegues, what do you share as important to you? Your goal here is to begin to establish a short list (10-20 keywords) about who YOU are and where YOU have expertise that others online would benefit from. A few websites you should learn about are Google Trends, Quantcast, Keyword Spy, and Tweet Later… ***Short story: I was virtually to the end of my rope and fed up with online marketing because I was not seeing any results…so I randomly watched this movie one night called “The Cove” about seeking to End Japan’s Dolphin Hunting and something SNAPPED inside me…that’s it! I always knew I had great knowledge of marine science and the oceans and its health. This was my Moment of Niche discovery, unfortunately for me it took over 90 days to get there.

Go after Your Personal Preferences – Do yourself a favor and don’t underestimate yourself! Put a list together of idea areas or areas you already work within that you wish to become an expert in. Grab a piece of paper now and get started. This is important because as you begin to learn about Marketing Yourself and not your product FIRST, you will be going after Relationships and not simply one-time-tire-kickers to purchase your products or services or information. Yes, you want to go after buyers, and not visitors, but in my opinion you need a venue (blog) or (html website) to build relationships before anyone will EVER even CARE about buying your Product or service or information.
- Do not Allow other People to Kill your Learning – This is so important and yet, so complex because of all the ways the human mind tries to break down everything everyone else is saying about You. To really drive this point home; imagine if you were 20 feet taller walking around the mall. Everyone is staring at your, right? Because you are different than everyone…you are so tall… Well, beginning to market yourself online starts with you and no one else. If you are experiencing others who talk trash about your Online marketing ventures or affiliate programs you have to take advice from other people who are 20 feet tall like you are. Why would you listen to people who are not building their own business online? I used to and have now stopped. Here’s the point -==> If you are a person who gives up easily when You are presented with a challenge, then Marketing Online may not be for you. But if you are a person who prides themselves on working to develop relationships and you feel that you have value to share with the world then Online marketing is definitely a way for you to meet new people and make money online.
- Don’t be trendy – Doing what everyone else does and not applying your own little twists to your Marketing you will find out first-hand how tenacious the business world online can be. On the other hand, when you share something or produce something brand new for others, for their benefit, you are on your way to discovering your own profitable niche business.
