A whole variety of niches and peoples are on Twitter these days.  I have joined a professional group of Twitter users that I highly respect online called the Fight Club Tribe.  In this post I’m going to show you How To Create Your Own Twitter List too. This should take you less than 10 minutes.

First before we dive right in I have learned that it’s better to share WHY having Your own Twitter List is valuable before just jumping into the steps.

The Big So What? :==: When you have your own Twitter List anyone who follows this list ALSO FOLLOWS YOU AUTOMATICALLY. That’s the reason why it’s powerful.

Step 1:

Login to your Twitter Account and Look in the upper right hand corner for a button that reads “listed” click that.

Step 2:

Keep a look out for a a button underneath your lists where you are listed by others and it says “New list” click that.

Step 3:

A new popup window will allow you enter your New Twitter List Name, Description of the list for others, and making the list Private or Public. Fill in your details.

Step 4:

After you click the button “Create list” you will see a new window where you find people to add to you Twitter list.

Step 5:

I chose to simply skip Step 4 above and went directly to the profile of some friends who I’m trying to list in the Fight Club Tribe and now that I created a new Twitter list I could also see a new button called “Lists” to the right side of where I can push the button to follow them. In this step I simply checked the box next to Fight Club Tribe and it added this new person to the Twitter List.

Step 6 Done!:
