Each and every YouTube video has a Video ID that represents the location of that video on the Internet…duh! We all know this now.
If you are not sure how this works a typical YouTube video has a website link, or URL, like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg9tY-zd-80
In this above URL you’ll see “jg9tY-zd-80” –> This is the Video ID.
Now, YouTube videos also each have a placeholder image that stores that image for the Video ID of the uploaded YouTube vid.
If you ever wish to find someone’s YouTube Video Image online copy the following link in the box below and simply replace the Video ID below with the one you wish to find the image for.
Try it right now with your favorite YouTube video…copy the link below and paste it in a new tab or window. Replace the Video ID with the new one and check it out.
